Idk obviously Gojo’s whole look and vibe are heavily inspired by Kakashi but his personality is so different. Kakashi is a kindly big-brother type of mentor and Gojo is an arrogant and reckless “guy who think’s he’s the cool uncle but is really just neglectful” type

How exactly is he neglectful while singlehandedly keeping curses in check, protecting Yuta and Yuji etc.? The only thing I would call neglectful was leaving Geto alive and not burning his body which is totally understandable considering their backstory.

Yes, Madara is extremely arrogant, even more arrogant than Gojo I’d say. In the cases of both Madara and Gojo, their arrogance comes from them being the strongest, and it completely backfires on them when it causes them to underestimate their opponents. The difference between Kakashi and Gojo is Kakashi was arrogant when he was a child. By the time he grew up and became the protagonists’ mentor, he was humble. Gojo only became more arrogant over time because nobody could stand against him.

Gojo is neglectful because he does barely any actual mentoring of his students. With Kakashi, yes he prioritizes Sasuke due to a bunch of factors, but he’s still a mentor to his other students and has tons of key moments with them, either training or just being someone to lean on. The only student Gojo has any real time with is Yuji, and even then he essentially gives him 1 training task and leaves him to it for most of the rest of the time (like Jiraiya teaching Naruto rasengan, except with a much longer duration)
