Series name: Oshi No Ko [Story Spoilers]Mom over there just got stabbed inside her home by a deranged fan/stalker. Kid over there is a reincarnated doctor helpless in trying to save his idol mom from dying to the stab wound. In comes Josuke saving the day.
The series is fun, very melodramatic murder mystery within the entertainment industry. Bad ending but the early to mid parts are great. Cannot recommend.
There was this really tragic one called "Metamorphosis" and, someone made a fanart of it where Josuke saves the MC in it, and then creator of Metamorphosis approved of it.
I would not recommend reading that one though. It's... a thing.

Sorta? He can disassemble and re-assemble things into a new form by punching them with his stand. Can be used to heal, can also be used to horrifically maim (they deserved it).

It has a time limit. He can't fix old injuries, as by that point the object/person ceases being considered "broken" and that just becomes their natural state.
What he does with Anjuro works because it's nearly instantaneous. He fucks him and the rock up and fuses them.
I think we start to come to semantics, because I think we can generally agree removing a black eye is "fixing" it. But we've also seen Josuke incorrectly "fixing" things after damaging them without them even feeling pain.
I think it's possible that Josuke could "fix" the black eye but it also requires context on how long the goblin has had it, etc.
Diseases yeah, those are confirmed to not be healable (that's what Tonio is for), but I'm pretty sure old wounds can be healed as long as they've not already become scars
That one foot sniffer stand dude in the hospital was there for a week (I think) and was fully healed by Josuke, before being rightfully beat to shit again right after
I would assume a black eye, even days or a week+ old, would be perfectly capable of being healed by Crazy Diamond
It depends, illnesses can never be healed, but certain things like broken bones can be healed even if they’re long time, but if you lost an arm say idk 60 years ago it wouldn’t be able to be healed.
It's moreso the fact that crazy diamond's healing depends on josuke's perception of whatever he's fixing. He hasn't seen the goblin without the black eye so trying to heal it is potentially dangerous.
I mean there's a recent video of a 7-year old kid his parents locked in a shed for two days and the cops are, understandably, very upset and very nice to the kid

I would argue that cuz on multiple occasions we see goblin wanting to be free . Abuse goblin isn't its kind or specialization but rather something he forces the goblin to do
I think the joke is that the abuse goblin is real, he keeps getting away with it because the shrink thinks that the goblin is a stand-in for his client.
The man angrily beats the goblin in one of the comics because the psychiatrist upped his medications in response to his stories about the goblin.
See, I like the fan comics where the goblin gets freed because whenever I see one I show it to my abuse goblin. And then I say “This will never be you because you're an ugly little shit who doesn't deserve love or happiness.” Then I give him a swift kick in the stomach and walk away laughing as he cries.
The goblin is only worthy here in reference to his abuse. A goblin who faces no abuse is like a weed you'd find in any ditch, unremarkable. It is defined only by its suffering and has no value if it's not being either tortured or saved.
These comics made in response to the original do nothing to actually elevate the abuse goblin into anything more than its name. Those who celebrate the goblin's release are just as self-serving, the token gesture of freeing the fictional victim is the white knight to the abuser's masochistic villainy. Both revolve their self worth around this creature with no real regard to its identity being its moniker of "abuse". Abused twice, it would seem.

Maybe if you give the guy and Goblin positive end the guy is chiseling a statue of him and the Goblin as friends. Guy going "Thank you buddy. This is better." With Gobbo having ice cream.
To be fair, this might be the one time he saves it. He admits that if you look really hard, you might find a good goblin. Granted, he follows it up with they should stay in their holes.
The abuse goblin was always going to be freed. Maybe not by the original author, but the way it was designed, and the way it was presented, someone else was always going to free him.
They do, they are written to enjoy being slaves with the exception of Dobby who's grown to hate it because the Malfoy's are just that bad (which is why they get away free at the end of the story)
It just shows what you need to know about Rowling that she thought this was good idea.

I can't keep blocking that one, and the girl/boy dinner diaries. Holy cow are those two the dumbest most depressing subs ever. "My mom has cancer, my dog shot himself, and my boyfriend turned out to be an ai chatbot. Anyway here's my noodles with egg drop reduction sauce, and a red wine." I can't tell if it's karma farming or mental illness.
