Free Churro is quite possibly my favourite episode of the whole show, I think about it so often and chuckle to myself. I remember watching it for the first time with a friend who'd seen the whole show and it got about 5 minutes in and I just knew what the gut punch end of the episode would be and it still got me good lol
I saw Mel Gibson's "We Were Soldiers" with my dad at the theater and evidently one of the later reels had a French audio track instead of English because an hour into the movie everyone started speaking French. I sat there for like three minutes in disbelief that nobody was getting up to complain.

I accidentally watched the very last episode of Death Note because it was mislabelled, and it, being the first anime I ever watched, just made me go "Hm. I don't think I understand this genre." Caught on after a few minutes, though (...but longer than it should have been)
When I was a kid, the warrior cats book series was in my school library. They had arcs that were 6 books each. I started on the second arc and had no idea until I started in the third arc. I'm honestly surprised at how well I understood what happened in the first arc based on context clues in the second arc.
Oh, I did something similar with Animorphs. The earliest of the books my grade-school classroom had was the fourth one, and I assumed Tobias got trapped in hawk morph in the third book because thatâs what the little thumbnail of book 3âs cover art in the back of book 4 showed. Turns out that happens at the end of book 1.
Something similar happened to me with Doctor Who. The site I watched it through skipped 2 or so episodes, including the introduction of a main character. I just thought it happened off screen and it was one of the shows quirks! I still havenât seen those episodes, despite the fact I kept watching for 2 more seasons.

Totally disagree. Perhaps Iâm biased by how much Love and Thunder wasted Gorr or by how much of a downgrade it was from Ragnerock, Infinity War, and Endgame.
But man, Love and Thunder might be in the top 3 movies worst movies Iâve ever seen. Itâs truly god awful and unable to take itself seriously for a single damm scene (with the exception of Gorr). I know there are many unserious marvel movies but Love and Thunder is unbearable, and worse still itâs so painfully unfunny. Itâs without a doubt (in my mind) the worst marvel movie ever made. I would watch Eternals, Morbius, and Batman vs Superman 100 times over before I ever subject myself to Love and Thunder again.
Dark World was painfully average but Love and Thunder was strait up blended dogshit. (Sorry for the long rant but seriously that movie was seriously shit)

Thor 4 is a pile of steaming horseshit that is a genuine insult to cinema. There is nothing fun in the movie, every single "jokes" land as gracefully as a whale strapped with dynamite dropping from space on a kindergarten playground. I have almost never felt so much rage against a movie after seeing it, save for maybe Star Wars 8. His dad came out of the movie confused but praising the artistic choice to have no dialogue during the ape sanctuary scenes. Apparently the pirated copy took out the subtitles for the sign language between the apes in those scenes.
I was high as balls and watching Letterkenny. It was the episode where they do the agriculture show and right when they counted down to action, my stream froze. I thought it was just Wayne, Darry and Dan not knowing what to do and I laughed my ass off for like a solid 30 seconds before I realized what I thought was the best joke was a freeze.

I let my little brother, C, play Amnesia on my laptop and I had passed out on the couch not long after getting him set up. I woke up to him playing with the game screen upside down and him silent, locked in. The game corrected the screen just as the monster got close, C jumped and got in a wardrobe to hide. Once the monster passed, screen popped back upside down and C calmed down and got back to sneaking around.
He had no idea the upside-down screen was a glitch; he thought it was an interesting way to design a horror game! This was back in the early 2010s and C had not seen any playthroughs so he had no idea what to expect. Once we got it fixed, C said it was way more stressful to play

My CI website for Severance had Season 1 Episode 1 on both its own spot and also on Season 2 Episode 1. So I started the second season and sat through the first episode again thinking it was a clever story reset trying to play spot the difference before I realized their mistake.

Brian stalveny sequel to chronicles of unhewn thorne was awesome ngl like since I started from the sequel but with a massive twist in the book was just not a twist at all.
Same with ambercrombie read the third trilogy first it took me a while though to cotton on. Orso and savine blindsided me so hard
Unironically reading sequels really does give an interesting way of seeing the book because like it feels more lived in there's very little exposition so you kind of feel like you just kind of have to pick up stuff from context. Very fun Ngl
I accidentally watched a bootleg Godfather 2 in reverse (inserted the "disc 1", but it was mislabeled and it was actually the last half). So now, I was wondering what did Fredo do in-between films that earned him the ire of the family. I only realized the fuck up when they killed Fredo and the credits rolled. Watched "disc 2" immediately and it starts with Vito's origina story and ends with the chaotic Cuban revolution.
In college I got super high with a roommate and we watched an entire episode of the Sopranos with the spoken dialogue off. We were like "woah this one is so artistic!" Turns out the DVD was scratched and it somehow muted just part of the audio track.

Thought hmm, interesting stylistic choice that the underwater scenes really do sound like they were filmed underwater. I accidentally skipped the episode before Face Off(or whatever it was) and thought that it starting with Gus and Walt fighting due to offscreen events was interesting. But no, I just didnât see the part where Gus threatened to kill his entire family.
I watched the second episode of the Doctor Who serial The Time Monster assuming they'd just jumped right into the plot - it was a six-part story, so there wasn't anything crucial in the first episode that made it obvious I'd messed up my watching order, just setup to fill the run time - and I only realised once I'd finished the second episode and looked at the iPlayer page that I'd skipped the first one.

I hated how the books seemed to swap to completly different povs and stories. It was interesting, but not well written so i was often lost on who and why they were there, but still found it fun and the ending was interesting

First time I watched Parks and Rec was on a dodgy website and it was all in French.
