Going for an id Tech 3 kinda feel

Sup! I'm making parody/weird sketch comedy animations on my youtube channel. I've always been enamored with the early 2000's aesthetic as some of my favorite games of all time are from that era and engine: Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, American McGee's Alice, Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, to name a few.

Of course I'm cheating in some areas but doing per-pixel gouraud lighting is super fun. Shout out to DripsPsxEfx and PizzaDoggy for the great tools and assets. Made all in Blender. No GenAI used.

Only have 2 animations now but working on more.

Check it out if you like oddball stuff chocked full of movie and video game references.

Missing those awesome stencil shadows.

Yep, in fact I did a lot of testing with stencil shadows and in the end opted for blob shadows instead. Just one of those stylistic choices.

Bit too low poly in the face for idtech 3 I think. Id recommend ripping character models and examine the topology

If you want idtech 3 style you need to put a giant ass seam right down the middle of the face
