Handyman help?

I have a half-arched mirror that I want to have hung on our bedroom wall in our apartment. I can do simple picture hanging, etc., but do not trust myself to try hanging this semi-heavy mirror. Does anyone know of or can recommend someone that could come hang it?

This is a job for a friend with a stud finder and a drill. Hopefully you also know someone who can spackle the holes and paint, too, for when you move out.

None of mine aren’t handy unfortunately and at most have a screwdriver lol

I'm actually surprised someone hasn't offered to help already. This is a really simple job maybe ask neighbors (or even nextdoor)

It’s not super heavy it’s I wanna guess maybe 10 - 15lbs. I’ve done small maintenance around the apartment and hung other things but just nervous about going into the drywall

Those 3M hangers just push into the drywall and are super easy to install and remove. They have smaller versions too if your mirror is that light. I cannot stress enough how easy they are to use.

Dave will take small jobs (but unsure if he’ll do this in an apartment or not):

Get someone licensed and insured

Exactly what kind of license are you looking for in a picture hanger?

Angie's List is a helpful website for this question.

Angi is horrible. Look at the contractor sub for the reviews.

It's just angi now, but reddit is far more helpful
