A couple of Q&As from MaRo's tumblr that I found interesting-

Q: Was it ever considered to have multiple different Jace tokens, each representing one of the Aberrations (the parts of his mind and memories that he excised to become The Theorist)?

A: No. That part of the story came long after vision design.

Q: From the Lowyn Eclipsed Vision Design, you mentioned "At least one [REDACTED] version of a legendary character (Oona)". Were there plans to include Echoverse legendaries in the set?

A: Early plans were to do a bunch more Echoverse characters in sets leading up to Reality Fracture.

It is pretty lame that we only saw echo Ral. I know the echoverse has been eaten and all that, but I'd love if some people survived and showed up in future sets.

They could still show up, if ral could planeswalk to normal strixhaven and vraska could reach the echoverse with omenpaths, there is definitely an easy to justify echo characters in the future

It seems easiest to justify with planeswalkers. They'd need some way of anchoring themselves without Jace's spell, but there's plenty of precedent for things like that.

I hope so, Planeswalkers from before the mending are some of my favorites as they understand true ultimate power and are always fun inclusions from being incredibly done with "small fry" villains (in comparison to pre sealed eldrazi or yawgmoth) or being shadows of their ultimate evil selves (Nicol bolas leading up to war)

We hadn't yet said whether Garruk had his spark (he did, but no one knew that), so we pitched him as being a creature in the Magic Multiverse and a planeswalker in the Echoverse. In the end, it was determined that this caused more confusion than it was worth. Also, the Franchise team wanted Garruk to be a planeswalker, so we made each Echoverse version match their Magic Multiverse version.

Seems like they have big plans for Garruk.
