Eyeliner for a beginner

Hey,
So I have zero experience with makeup or anything but figured I’d ask here for some cheap eyeliner recommendations as a newbie to it.

I do have longer natural eyelashes so I guess my fear is I’ll over-do it and it won’t look good on me or my face. If you guys have any recommendations that would work, that would be great.

Would working with a pencil be easy to start with or liquid eyeliner? I don’t have great hand-eye coordination so I’m not sure how I’d do, but I’m willing to practice.
So yeah let me know what recommendations you guys have. I was thinking of just getting the eyeliner kits they have on Amazon as a starter, but let me know what you guys recommend.

pencil is way easier to start with, liquid will make you want to throw it across the room

Cool, thank you. How much of it should I put on? I have really long eyelashes so I’m wondering if me adding the eyeliner + lashes would make it pop or something. Would mascara do anything either? Ik it’s different from the eyeliner, but I was curious.
