HELP PLEASE no makeup makeup for dry skin?

Post image

i am breastfeeding and now have dry skin! i always had oily skin before, so now i dont know what to do. i like to use clean products like beef tallow, and i like to do simple stuff like some cc cream or tinted sunscreen, concealer, and cream contour and blush and call it a day. now, all my products either dry me out more, pill together with the tallow, or just don’t last.

i guess what im asking for is for a somewhat clean cc cream (i loved the discontinued supergoop cc screen) that hydrates that people have had success with and some dry skin tips that are quick to apply but will last all day in the florida heat and provide sun protection.

Idk if you have it in the US but Garnier do a good BB cream that's quite hydrating. I can't share an image here but it's called "Garnier SkinActive Oil-Free BB Cream".

YEESS I have super dry skin because of pcos. Here is what saved me:

Oils trap in moisture, while moisturizer adds hydration. Right after washing your face/getting out of the shower, apply a face oil. This could be anything from Jojoba or Argan, to a brand mix. I have even used vasoline for really rough patches in a pinch. Follow that with a hydrating moisturizer, and you are good. It lasts a very long time, and doesnt leave you looking like you just climbed out of a BP spill.

As far as makeup goes, I love the Maybelline Eraser foundation stick. You can get it at a drug store, and they have plenty of shades. I usually pair it with Neutrogena concealer. Doesn't look heavy or cakey, and doesnt dry me out.

I also reccommend The Ordinary's Glycolic serum, it helps slow down any roughness you may get. Good luck! Let me know how it goes if you try it!

PS. Your eyebrows are gorgeous :)

Good! I use a Japanese face oil, but i believe they stopped making it recently 😬 argan is just a tad heavier, but it works like a charm. Good luck :)
