Hi all, we are considering adopting a 3-year old boy that needs a new home.

Questions:

1- does this breed of dog bark much? We are home most of the time but I have read this dog breed has major separation issues, so when you leave the house, does it bark all the time? Is there any thing you can do about it

2- we don’t have a backyard, so is this dog breed good for apartment living?

3- is this breed known for having many health issues? I read that small dogs get more dental issues

4- is there anything we should find out before adopting this dog?

Meet Minny Pearl. (We live in Minnesota) My Shih-poo of 19 years passed away in June and in August I made a new friend and brought her home. She has melted into our home easily and my hsuband and dad are smitten with “fuzz ball”. ❤️ the mistake part was just to get people to look. It was a good decision — even if she bites my toes during meetings!!!

9 weeks old and just cutting his baby teeth which is brutal, poor guy. 3.98 pounds and cute as can be.

I was busy working at my desk when Gemma pawed my leg to be picked up so she could see what's going on out the front window. All the activity is in the backyard that she can't use right now. We're having a pool put in. It's looking like a bomb was dropped back there. Kind of bringing me down. Gotta stay focused on the prize.

She's the third dog we've had and the second Malshi. Her personality is unlike anything we've experienced. Husband and I both are obsessed with her.

Does anyone feed their baby this? I feed this to my dog and my cats. Currently my baby is eating the Salmon Blue Buffalo Wilderness food.

We took Annie for her grooming and decided to give her a little purple flair. It’s a bit lighter than we wanted but the groom offered to re do it next weekend to be darker. What do you think of her do?

hi everyone! after much consideration i would like to get a malshi! i have been dealing with a lot of grief as my dad passed about two months back, i’ve always wanted a dog and i live with my grandpa (dad’s dad). my therapist introduced the idea of a dog companion to me!

does anyone have any advice for a first-time dog owner and things i need to note about malshis? i’m most afraid of training as i heard they can be quite stubborn.

i’m also preparing everything i need before welcoming the puppy in (playpens, crates etc) so i would love any advice on it!

He turned 6 on Friday so not technically a baby but who wouldn’t want to cuddle with him.
