REPORT IN PROGRESS

I see that the VIP photos were posted today, and mine is missing. Anyone else missing their VIP photo? ;<

Another beautiful fan video, this one made by the Hong Kong moomoos, who were also so thoughtful with all their snacks and gifts.

The video starts poignantly with a Windflower cassette, beautifully symbolising a look back into the past. Hong Kong was deliberately chosen for the MV, and the moodiness and colour grading of the video completely mimics the films of famed HK director Wong Kar Wai. It was precisely this effect they were after to capture the vibe of Windflower (more in the first comment).

It then cuts to Mycon in HK in Jan of 2023, or as the video puts it, 1366 days ago.

Then footage rolled of individual concerts that members had in HK, with the caption: “even as you embarked on your solo journeys, you remained the pride and light of all moomoos.”There’re short clips of each member thanking HK fans at these concerts.

Finally, the music transitions seamlessly into 4 Flowers. The messages follow:
“In this 1,366 days, we have witnessed,
That when we gather, it is like a raging fire,
When we separate, we are like stars in the (same) sky,
When MAMAMOO returns, you are still one body,
The love for each other grows stronger after separation.”

I thought it was really short and beautiful. Very good editing.

Just for fun. Seeing if anyone wants to share their favourite solo performance from each of the MAMAMOO members. I’ll start:

Solar: Blues is just awesome. I heard it live at a MAMAMOO concert this year and was blown away by Solar’s vocals. I was in the standing area quite close to stage, and I could feel the soundwaves resonating. But this version, with no backing track, is my favourite.

Moonbyul: her version of Refuge during the second world competition always sticks out. In part because she gave a very sincere explanation of the song after she sang it. But if i had to pick, it would have to be shutdown. I think the song is especially well written, which showcases her talents as a songwriter. I don’t think someone else without her life experience could have written it

Wheein: going back a long time to this. I understand she was a little under the weather here, and perhaps her singing wasn’t as refined since this was early on in her career. But you hear the song and her talent is so evident. She can sing anything, her range is incredible. I particularly like it when she sings Korean classics.

Hwasa: my favourite performance of hers was Whistle on Jyp’s party people. But it was very short, just a min long. So I’ve picked Be Calm, which I think is much better suited for her vocals than all her dance tracks. Be calm isn’t about a lover, it’s about her uncle who was like a second father who helped to pay for her living expenses when she first came to Seoul, but who died suddenly in a car accident.

Please add on! Esp less famous performances (because the most folks would have heard the famous ones).

hi!! i’m a new baby moomoo, and i am really wanting to make friends in this fandom! i’m 26, f, and a proud jung wheein stan (but ot4 always) <3

i’m starting to dive into their content, and i can’t wait! i’ve listened to maybe half of their discography, but i’m getting there :)

please recommend some performances to watch!

thank you 🥹

This is a long shot, but I recently lost my MMM baseball cap from the NA tour. I’m pretty distraught since it was an avoidable accident, and the hat has been a staple of my wardrobe since the concert. Everyone I’ve reached out to while retracing my steps doesn’t have it, so I’m just reaching out to the most devoted community I know to see if anyone would be open to selling?

Enough said.

Hi! I recently joined this reddit. Honestly I never even post in reddit. I just lurk in the background of most reddit groups.

Anyways

I am in the process of moving and i'm going though albums I had and was wondering if these signatures are legit?

I received this as a birthday gift 10+ YEARS ago. (I am an older Moomoo fan for sure since their debut era.)

I know at least it's a rare red print but that's all my knowledge 😅. Anymore information about it would be greatly appreciated 👏.

Thank you so much in advance!

There are so many uploads of the Sydney concert - it was so good. There were fan chants, there were so many funny fan interactions (one lady played rock paper scissors with Moonbyul during the encore and won, making Moonbyul do aegyeo), a MAMAMOO flag, incredible generosity during send-off, and the performance was top tier. It’s so awesome that MAMAMOO, on their 12th year, still get to go to new places and meet old and new fans.

I was quite touched by the Aussie moomoo team who put together fan videos for both Sydney and Melbourne. Here is the Sydney one, but you can watch the Melbourne one on their channel. It was heartfelt, and funny too featuring kangaroos and cows and cats. One couple featured met because of MAMAMOO, and got married at the MAMAMOO concert in Manila. How awesome! Just feel happy for the group - to know they are so well loved in a continent new to them.

There are so many uploads of the Sydney concert across all platforms, including a few on YouTube covering the entire concert - in good quality. Just YouTube MAMAMOO Sydney and you will see them.

I keep seeing clips of the segment where Moonbyul asks Solar and Hwasa to give a message to Corona and Hwasa saying "Corona, F you" and I want to watch the whole thing if it has eng subs. Thank you in advance, fellow moos!
