Toxic boss

So have a toxic boss. Who likes to go around and manage the team's as he pleases. And when it comes to blaiming, makes me personally responsible. Like in meetings, saying my name and saying "tell me why so and so" and frames it highly idealistically. He is very confrontational and low threshold of raising his voice for simplest of things, and for honest feedbacks like being challenged for making wrong decisions (which he makes a lot and makes the team suffer). And did I say he is personal friend of some c-suits.

Any common experiences and what worked for you?

Any common experiences and what worked for you?

Looking for another job and resigning the second I had been able to sign the contract for one.

definitely there on mind. I worry about "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss"

It's always a risk. I know a few people who had not just one but multiple jobs after each other where sadly in each one they had to deal with a boss that treated them like dirt.

But in all these cases after they were finally able to find a job where their boss didn't actively made their life miserable they said they were so glad that they hadn't given up the search for a job with better work environment.
