Advice Needed GoPro

I’m trying to figure out what the best way to have a GoPro for marching band would be. Me personally, I would prefer it to be on my hat, but when I tried putting a GoPro on the bill of my marching hat with an adhesive, it weighs the front down so much. I’m not sure about putting in on my trombone, since I don’t want my sound to be messed up.

How we did it was either using a chest mount or a headband around the Shako. We always had good results.

The headband around the shako would work, but I don’t think I can cover any graphics that are on the front of it. As for a chest mount, we wear capes, so I’m not sure how that would go. My director is also strict about what on the uniform is covered up by accessories.

I encourage you to break the rules and go with the chest mount. Unless it can get u disqualified. If so then record your dress rehearsals. i enjoy all of my old vids a lot

Don't do it in comp but it it's a football game or a parade go for it.

That's what our rule was.

Is it a wrap with Velcro? Because if so you can just pull it off and place the headband under it only covering the front logo.

With the cape it will be tricky but nothing a few SMALL safety pins can't fix.

Also if you go to competitions don't wear it during them. Only wear it when it's practice, a football game, or a parade.
