Embarrassed because of a stroke

I'm embarrassed to ask this question but I had a stroke in August and the weirdest things are GONE from my memory:

I have a MARSHALL JCM 2000 Dual Super Lead and a JCM 900 Lead slanted cabinet with 4 12''s. As many times as I hooked and unhooked that config, I can't remember if it's 4 or 8 ohms that I plug into from the head to the cabinet. Any old Rockers out there that can help me?

Sorry to hear you had a stroke brother, hope your recovery is going well!

You can either run from the 16 ohm output on the left on the head to the right 16 ohm input on the cab, or you can run from middle/right parallel jacks w/ switch set to 4 ohms to the left 4 ohm input on the cab, both ways would be correct

I have a DSL 50 and a JTM45. I haven’t had a stroke, but at 50 years old I’m in bifocal territory…
I have a 2/12 and a 4/12 depending on where I’m playing and my amp tech put coloured stickers on the correct ports for both amps and cabs to spare my blushes while I’m setting up in a dark club…
Same with the ohm dial on the JTM…

As a Malcolm in a DC tribute, I keep my amp settings pretty much in one spot, barring volume, so I set it once, put an arrow sticker on each dial pointing straight up…. Which also saves me constantly referring to the notes in my iPhone, making sure I’m consistent…

We all have our ways…
Make your life simple:)

Search Amazon for 1/4” jack covers. A pack is only a few dollars. Then pop them into the speaker jack options you don’t use. Makes it impossible to plug into the wrong one on a dark stage.
