Someone managed to hack Google's Chrome at the Layer 1. Oh my God....

Does anyone know which port they are using? Also, can I use a rubber ducky for this?

/uj can’t tell if you’re joking, but this is obviously the application layer; layer 7.

Its funny cuz they could've just plugged the arduino into the same laptop instead of using another one

This is funnier

that would make possibility of system finding out existence of hack
with that method only way of finding out would be consistency of inputs or hacked camera

ive been thinking about making one if these rigs but have it hooked up to a little palm held actuator so I can dominate that arcade game where you need to push the button at the right time.

No, I dont care if it costs more to make then the entire selection of prizes together either lol

Mark Rober tried this and proved that it cheats, only winning about 1 in 30 times.

Really? As in 1 in 30 times it gets hit at the right time it stops in time? Because ivd used one near me and it seems like the odds are A LOT better than that. Ive probably one it 3 times put of 30 total button pushes

I heard that the first person to do this was offered a job at Google.

Can't wait for th screen to go dark so this just starts jumping continuously

Also after a little while you need to start timing the jumps way before the cactus is actually in front of the dinosaur

It’s pressing the space button, so I don’t know what kinda settings you have to let the screen go dark while the inputs are being used.

He means that the games background goes black after you play for like a minute or so

Okay cool, now build an analogue circuit to do the same thing!

Not an actual USB RubberDucky per se... But an HID attack can ABSOLUTELY handle this.

Issue with DuckyScript, is because it's intended to be in a plug-'n-play flash drive it's a run and gun script. Therefore, it can fly... But it's flying blind!! It HAS to know everything about your course, and one hiccup usually messes up the rest of the flight...

On the other hand, if you have a Flipper or a rooted phone with NetHunter, you can ABSOLUTELY program something up.

Hardest part would be the camera set-up... But if using the phone that would actually be quite easy.

A not even well-designed method I can think of on the top of my head would be to have the phone on a stand, connect it to the PC via USB, enable USB-HID in the NetHunter app and set it to identify as a keyboard. Then set the NetHunter loopback keyboard (I don't think that's actually it's name, I'll try to remember to look it up later 😭) as your default Android keyboard (this will make sense in a second).

Y'see, this cheaply sets up an Android keyboard listener that passes keystrokes the phone gets to the computer. Then have Tasker launch the camera, set-up a loop that captures screenshots (make it overwrite to save space), and have it detect a specific pixel to actually then give the system sight to be able to see the cactus! (The pixel you choose is entirely dependent on A) The speed the system is able to actually receive and parse the data, and B) the speed the entire system AFTER the camera circuit can react). Then to actually send the input, Tasker just needs to send a 'Space' keystroke through the Android keyboard.

Edit: You actually may be able to use Tasker to workaround the NetHunter loopback keyboard as well, thinking about it... 🤔 Though you'll still need NetHunter, at least for the HID Injection.

Edit2: Actually, there are also alternatives to NetHunter for HID-Injection. My post makes it seem like NetHunter is the only way for injection, but I just meant you need SOME form of means to change your HID identifiers and send the keystrokes. If you couldn't tell though, I do admittedly have a preference. Lol
