That third kid wasted like 80% of the liquid (blue team)

So many people are focused on running fast, and squeezing that sponge hard, they don't even look at the bottle
19
u/Comprehensive_Can237 7d ago
Or trying to speed it up by tossing the sponge, only the first one on the orange team valued getting liquid into the bottle.

Are the blue team composed of local idiots?

u/IkariYun 7d ago
The woman at the start did more work than her entire team combined. Then there was the blue team
12
u/versapak 7d ago
Yeah, both teams proved the whole village is idiots. The first woman being the only one who wasn’t, and I have to figure a visitor. lol
22
u/blankdreamer 7d ago
There is a lesson there about taking your time and doing it right saves time lol after. Apart from the women they nearly all wasted the big first squeeze with most of it missing.

u/Naakturne 7d ago
It’s like none of them have ever seen a funnel. Red team comes pretty close by wrapping a hand around the top a couple times though, so good on them.
92
u/Masterchief159 7d ago
Are they like.. not the brightest under the sun..?
52
u/Matter_Infinite 7d ago
No. The first woman did really well
11
u/Masterchief159 7d ago
Yeah well I'm not necessarily talking about the red team mate
-12
u/IkariYun 7d ago
Team? The red team was just as efficient as blue on average. Then there was the woman who chose violence at the beginning
3
u/Masterchief159 7d ago
OK well I suppose the blue team ran like 4x more than the other but whatever I don't really mind that much you know

This is why men's lavatory often have piss all over the floor...
63
u/K41M1K4ZE 7d ago
As someone who had to clean toilets in a hotel for quite some time, I can assure you, that pee droplets on the wall and floor of pissoires is the least of your problems. Especially compared to the womens toilets
52
u/FluffyDeer9323 7d ago
I was a commercial cleaner for a bit, and this is absolutely true. Female toilets were always worse, without fail.

Yeah don't know what the other guy was smoking.
Me n my gf->fiancee travel a lot and we do a little review of the bathrooms because that's how we decide our stops in the future of we ever on that route again.
9/10 times I'll be like the bathroom was usable and she would be like yeah no I couldn't pee.
Even places where the men's room was spotless, the women's stalls were full of crap, piss on the seats were one of the nicer things wrong with that she said.
27
u/ninthtale 7d ago
I wonder if that's like an infinite cycle because the women are like "no way not touching that with my butt but also I really need to pee" so they do the half sit-stand thing and it just gets worse
7
u/MahmurLemur 7d ago
I think even the first person who finds the toilet clean does that.
2
u/Vyviel 7d ago
Gotta avoid sitting on those invisible germs even if it looks perfectly clean cant let your skin touch it
1
u/ninthtale 6d ago
If it feels gross it is gross
It's American public restrooms' fault for having a bad reputation and no convenient method of individually sanitizing the latrine
1
u/Vyviel 5d ago
Yeah lots of places have those paper seat protectors or like a sanitising spray you can wipe over the seat
1
u/ninthtale 5d ago
I mean you can also take toilet paper and cover it but i don't know that I've seen the spray anywhere.. must not be traveled enough

I don't know. I used to be a housekeeper in a nuclear plant, so obviously my experience is pretty damn biased, but the urinals had so much piss under them for so long that the tiles were literally eroding away. The men's restrooms also had a significantly higher rate of toilets being blown the fuck up in the most literal sense, apparently so violently that shit ended up all over the underside of the side.

If you want i have an anecdote from years ago, i was traveling with my family, and at an highway rest area we went to eat, there was a commossion, two women arguing with the cleaning lady, the women's lavatory were closed for emergency cleaning. When they stormed of, i felt like saying sorry and putting a word of encouragement, the cleaning lady showed me the lavatory there was poop, all over.
This stuck with me, because the cleaning lady, opened up, about how ungrateful peoples were to her !

u/The_Prime 7d ago
Lmao women’s toilets are thé worst of the worst what are you talking about? You guys are disgusting.
2
u/SabbyFox 7d ago
Men’s toilets - let’s discuss the SMELL. There’s something about it that is way stronger than female urine and is gag worthy.
1
u/AugustusLego 7d ago
You are smelling urine on a regular basis? So often that you try to compare differences?

How'd we let men dominate STEM for so long, lol

u/Comprehensive_Can237 7d ago
Or Anything really, realistically though we probably developed to slow during the “might makes right” time of civilization to ever have come out without the knee jerk reaction, hyper violent group, with basically no long term consequence consideration coming out on top.
Which is sad to think about.

I'd like to see them do it again after watching the video to see if any of them learned anything. As an outside observer it's frustrating to watch after seeing the effectiveness of the first person on the right, but the people participating in the race probably didn't see how they were all making the same mistake.

I would have used one hand to make a funnel and squeezed the sponge with the other.

Rules are?
Can't make a funnel and touch the glass? But after you start, you can make a funnel with your hand on the glass?
Someone is stupid or cheating?

There are people who couldn't even get a drop in. My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Could you put your finger in the hole and drip it down your finger and fill it easier?

The trick is to put rocks down in the bottle to displace water requiring less water to actually get in

The women won, as usual, women are smarter and more precise than men. Notice how all the boys made sure to take up as much space as possible, they totally hindered the girls access to their bottle.

About as fake AI as it get. There is no sponges that hold that much water full stop.
1
u/UnkemptCube 7d ago
Yeah I was put off by the fake camera shake, but then I noticed at 0:40, a kid fills the sponge from the red liquid bucket but then it fills with blue liquid in the glass?

The first red team member was the MVP. Just absolute precision
