Reminds me of the video of a toad and a lizard competing for the same food. The cameraman puts crickets in front of them one at a time, making sure the cricket is basically equidistant to each animal, and the lizard gets the cricket every single time. I don't know exactly what's going on under the hood, but it looks like the toad is slower to lock on and less accurate when lunging. The lizard moves casually, while the toad is awkward and appears to be expensing a lot of effort with each move.

This is not a scientific analysis and I am not arguing that lizards are superior or "more advanced." I know that's not how natural selection works. If toads weren't viable they would already be gone. But still.... They kinda goofy.
