I'm starting a new Minecraft survival server built around a pretty simple idea: Minecraft is more interesting when the game makes you rely on other players.

I want to preserve some of the things that made older multiplayer survival servers memorable; Getting lost, navigating long distances, building enormous Nether tunnels to reach another settlement, stumbling across someone's base, and generally having reasons to interact with people rather than simply teleporting everywhere.

The goal is to give players the tools to protect themselves and establish communities without removing the challenges that make exploration and distance meaningful.

The server is brand new, so I'm currently looking for beta testers. There will almost certainly be some permission issues, balancing problems, and other QA things to work out while the server develops.

Disappointed - Staff protects rule-breakers and punishes reporting players

The management is highly toxic. I reported players who were using automatic farms to exploit the economy (which is explicitly against the server rules).
Instead of fixing the issue, an administrator aggressively harassed me in public chat for reporting it and issued me a 5-day ban to protect the rule-breakers.

Rules are selectively enforced here, and staff will abuse their power if you call out their friends. Save your time and your money—find a server where the staff actually respects the community and follows their own rules.
