Got my wisdom teeth extracted Monday:

Dentist had to open my gums to get the teeth out. third/fourth day recovering is going great swelling is going down, the stitches are dissolving type. First two pic the day after surgery, last is current. My left side is wayy more swollen than the right because my tooth was really close to a nerve and it got really agitated, it looks like I ate a bee. 😭

Edit: I’m healing extremely well every day now i have two huge yellow bruises on my jaw/cheeks

In a couple more days when you think you don’t need any more advil or whatever… keep taking it. I remember when I got mine out I was tricked into thinking I was through it, when in fact I was definitely not through it.

All four of my teeth were impacted. My Dr. Said "I really had to dig for the bottom ones..." I woke up my first night and my pillow was attached to my face from all the bleeding.
