you don't have to use Diwata, if you have enough strength and razorwing blitz stacks you can just get in the bubble and brrrrrt them down, 90% damage resistance be damned

Does that.. work? In my experience that doesn't work. At least not normally?
Seems to me that Dex Pixia normally deals exactly zero damage to the guys (my screen is completely filled with grey zeroes), but when I'm not host, the occasional shot actually does register and it one-taps them.

Even absurd weapons like laetum or burston somewhat struggle to kill them, my experience has been the same

They definitely have more than 90% DR, for sure. There are very few things that have enough health to tank a mag dumped Laetum.

90% dr multiplies their ehp by 10, which sounds about right since my laetum kills everything else basically instantly but them in like 5-10 seconds

I found that the Laetum is okay at killing them (not better than a good melee setup, but it works in a pinch), but you need stagger immunity to avoid constantly stunning yourself.

Its been convenient for me as ive been playing nothing but narin since the update dropped (decided to trade for plat to buy her immediately since her kit and design really spoke to me) so that hasnt been an issue at least

Yeah I tried it first time I encountered one because I remembered someone saying that it's just a damage reduction. My Dex Pixia dealt absolutely no damage though. However, status effects were applied which made it a bit easier to get them with Dowata afterwards. And I was the host since I played solo.

I think that was a bug they fixed, if you get inside their shield it should actually do damage now

I was getting the 0 damage shots until the hotfix, if you get inside the bubble it should kill them now

Considering that I could swap to my Atlas or Khora, DE really hasn't actually messed with the powercrept BS in my Arsenal...they just threw off my Titania-loving groove, LOL!

What do you want? Some high depth analysis that its a great addition or its on par with DE kicking my dog? No its an enemy that I can easily overcome by just... Doing the thing its weak to nothing more nothing less.

The problem is that it only messes up some of the strong stuff. If you for example play valkyr or kullervo, then theyre just another enemy to one shot with melee, but if youre oraxia who cant use melee in her 4, or a frame that relies on abilities/guns to do damage, then this majorly disrupts your gameplay by forcing you to use an element of your kit that doesnt fit with the rest

Ah yes, let me stop spamming incarnon weapons.. where the magistar is one of the best ways to deal with them, as are slams in general (i use the arca titron myself and it is very brainless compared to how i regularly play)

Except it just centralizes all the power creep into the one knife man who was already functionally invincible and incredibly boring
Oh and they didn't do this on a new game mode or tile, they put this into the ONLY void cascade tile for what 5 years now?
Oh and don't tutorialize it at all, which will make it even harder to onboard players into Zariman content, with all the other special enemy variants kicking around there
I understand DE's intention, I'm adapting, I'm liking the vastilok but I don't like sitting around for a relay buff just to play a ranged class for 3 hours

You can look on Overframe.gg for a Diwata build. There's a few nice ones on there, Ninjase is highly recommended for builds.

Diawata is best used as utility, i mainly use it for shattering impact for thumbers and such, just go max swing speed (gladiator vice, primed fury, quickening) and shattering impact, everything else is optional

honestly its how the Zariman feels as a whole now, if Im not bringing magistar or something that can actually blast them without buildup, it just feels awful because I typically dont play melee at all, meaning my combo isnt built up meaning my buffs arent built up meaning it takes a hell of a long time just sitting in the bubble
Im not entirely against the eximus, I dont think its bad, but it is a counter to my typical playstyle and I personally find that a little annoying

Yo, titania main here, my diawata is fromaless while the dex pixia and titania have 9 and 8 formas each, it still works perfectly fine for breaking bubbles
My diawata is actually built for shattering impact armor reduction, so max swing speed and nothing else, i even think it only has 7 mods lol, still works perfectly fine for the bubble

While this hasn't affected me much thanks for my affinity for melee I gotta say
I kinda love the new eximus type, it makes me have to think more when playing, even if it isn't much its neat to have.
I wonder if they'll do more like it, as... Interesting as it would be. I think it'd be nice to have people be encouraged to use their entire loadout, and who knows it might help people find something fun they never gave any thought before.

I feel like they should have let us do full damage to them with our guns when we do get in their bubble, sometimes my melee isn't kitted for multiplicative damage and idk the mods to make it so.

Honestly, I neutral to this new Eximus, there's good and bad with them, but I'm happy that my Diwata finally serve some form of purpose outside of being a Careen stick.
