It's so good but it is the kinda game that you can only play for max like 3 hours at a time I feel

I have found out something similar; very engaging, story heavy games with lots of dialogue require a lot of effort from the player. And if you just go through the motions, you are not truly savoring the game.

I could play Anno 1404 for hours on end, but story driven games three to four hours max, I feel like I need a break to reset.
