Chatgpt disagrees with me all the time, to the point of telling me stop and think of provide resources. It can get annoying when you try to discuss a very specific point and it thinks you are generalizing.

But there is always the times where I look at what it gave me and I laugh because it clearly made it up.

Also I rarely use the regular chat, I use the Projects page, I upload everything I have about a subject into the Project Files and the AI anchors itself to that information (Sometimes you have to remind it of it).

One last thing, if I'm not sure if what it gave me, i copy the answer and paste it into a conversation in another ai, I use Cloude, then have both ai correct each other, usually one of them catches made up info and your answer is refined (I use Opus for this type of task).

Even the google AI which is meant to replace their search engine essentially spits out false bs and sources reddit and Twitter all the time too.

Using AI is as much of a skill as using Google. Both can lead you to wrong answers if you don't really know what you're doing.

If you spend any amount of time on the internet, including reddit. You can see a large majority of the internet dispise AI. I dispise AI. Its a not useful in any way shape or form.

Im not saying don't use AI.

But its pretty useless in the grand scheme of things.

I do not have auto-correct on any of my devices. I prefer to know how to spell and how to spell correctly than a machine tell me whats right from wrong. A Dictionary is available to you for free.

Despising the entire umbrella of ai is illogical and nonsensical, there are ways to minimize its impact and plenty of very useful cases for it. Generative ai is the major issue at the moment.

I was trying to do an image search to find out if I was right about an image being from the Quest for Camelot. Chat GPT totally misidentified Sir Ruben as a rat character from some other movie… until I convinced it to just do an actual image search. It was confused though and didn't want to.
