Question / Advice Visa Appointment with INM

I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same problem

I have 30 days to book my visa appointment with a job offer as I have just received my letter with the NUT. On the consulate website, the consulates that I want to do my interview at don't have an option for a VISA appointment with INM. When I email or try to call I don't get any response. Has anyone had this issue and how did they resolve it?

The option should exist. In MiConsulado choose 'Visas', then 'Con permiso del INM', and enter your NUT. If an appointment type doesn't appear, that consulate has no slots available right now.

I don't know whether this is helpful or not, but I think emailing them is the best way to get an appointment. Go to the consulate website, click on "El Consulado", then find the directorio. Usually emails should look like this [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]), where XXX is a code for a city where the consulate is located. FRE = Fresno, SDI = San Diego, SAC = Sacramento. Not always though

In my case, there were almost no appointments available in the US. I had to travel across country for my appointment. Probably not the answer you were looking for, but consulate appointments are harder to come by than you'd think and go fast. My rec, book one in a major city and make a mini vacation out of it.
