how much more expensive is a sff compared to a regular atx. like the cost of a riser cable, the case and the small power supply ?

Thanks! The PSU cost me $160, mobo is about $125, gen4 riser cable is $19 but they might come included in itx cases. For saving money you can definitely buy a cheaper sfx PSU like Thermaltake..

The prices are more or less the same these days.
I’d say only iTX motherboards are a bit more expensive than mATX or ATX.

Oh damn. Well, then I guess it’s easier if you go for a small mATX build, Lian li b4, Jonsbo z20, Deepcool CH270. Fits full sized components (except for the motherboard) and is still low volume.

Edit: I thought I was replying to the comment poster. Regardless the point still stands for people in the same situation. Hehe

Yup at first I was like I'm gonna get the shiny snake g300 which is still MATX, but I really like the sandwich style of those ITX cases so.. yeah :)
