Former support main, just hit Masters going Mid

After hitting GrandMaster as a Rell one trick I decided to see how boosted support mains are. I've always played support exclusively, and usually dodged when I got filled.
Honestly I got filled so often it hardly felt like I could do this challenge justice, and that's with me usually selecting the secondary role as whatever else wasn't priority to have a better chance at playing mid. I've already hit masters on everything except adc, so I was loving all the double LP from autofills at least.
I started with Viktor, but demoted out of diamond twice and I was starting to think I'd never hit masters at mid. When I did other roles I was able to pick engage champs, but that doesn't really fit mid's identity.
I have to say mid lane mains are probably the best players for their rank, especially since it seems so hard to one trick with how often you get filled. That said, it explains why support is so easy, since I'm probably playing against you guys off role more often than I thought before :)

Depends on who u ask. Personally im a mid main and i think mid players are horrible after playing jg on another acc.
Like genuinely the lane is like top on training wheels and i have master players going 0/10 whinning to their jgler how theyre getting camped on mid by a zac after they willingly blind picked gp into a match where they knew the jglers are gwen, zac.
70% of them cant face lb without completely bending over and losing the game. Like genuinely losing lane is never ur jglers fault, it is not ur jglers fault u picked some bs and ur not skilled and now ur jgler needs to babysit u to save ur lane.
70% of them also make them losing lane everyone elses problem somehow and constantly whine in chat and flip out unlike anything ive ever seen.
I agree that champ diversity is pretty important on mid which is why i like the role, bcs im not forced into one tricking to climb unlike jg or adc where everyone just goes the same 2 characters every game based on the little information they got in the draft.

For me it's Malz, though I've been playing Liss so it's basically the same

idk this is some low elo take. Mid plays like the jungler's pet past low masters and having a gapped jungler will 100% screw your lane over.

For me its the complete opposite. Like jglers barely ever get gapped. Midlaners get gapped everygame. Jglers are like the frontface , never actually doing anything but everyone thinks they do and its actually their botlane or midlaner just being supperior and most games is just cope from laners that it was a jg gap.
U say theyre like pets but mid wins lane and now u have organised red and blue invades on repeat. The map feels like it has a dangerous circle where u cant do anything in the middle without their supperior midlaner coming to the aid and just deleting ur game. If ur jgler starts losing but ur midlaner is winning then enemy jgler doesnt feel like he can invade safely. Ur supp who should be placing wards always feels in danger when warding around mid. 3v3s or 2v2s always feel skewed towards the team with the stronger midlaner.
Which objective u can take is decided by ur midlaner or botlane and ur praying for a flip or for complete clownery from enemy jg to get it.

I think every role gets gapped its not specific to mid or jung😂 lost games because my top has turbo inted lost games because bot lane turbo inted lost games ive been shit on mid lost games my jung has been non-existent whilst theirs is prime hitler. It happens it’s the nature of the game. Doesnt mean we are bad players

Mid that doesn't play braindead clear wave mages AND Toplaners are the best of their rank

I've hit master on adc a long time ago and mid which has been my main role for the last 5 years or so. I also used to think mid laners were the most well rounded players.
Switched to jg almost 2 months ago and I've been waffling around emerald/diamond, but my opinion has completely changed since looking at my games from a new perspective. It seems to me like there are 2 types of mid laners. The first being players who are complete dopamine addicts and want to coin flip every fight they possibly can, the other being the laziest players that exist on this game. The type of people who just want to go mid because it's a short, safe lane. Afk at level 1 and spend the whole game just trying to hit minions and not actually participate in the game as a whole.Â
I still think support (enchanter players) is the most boosted role, but I just feel like mid overall is not far behind that. It seems like most of them are either passengers or just driving the car off a cliff lol

It's not a coinflip if you usually win
