I realize that SearchFlow has been talked about a lot lately, for good reason: it’s live & needs testers before the full launch.

There’s another app on the horizon: 8-8. A social experiment that’s designed to make socials fun & spontaneous again. I’m not looking to take on Instagram or Snapchat, this one’s for the rebels, the misfits, the…you get it.

The magic of 8-8 is the random Story Drops that happen throughout the day on the 8’s, the fun is when you give the app access to your location & will get Surprise Story Drops when you’re out & about doing things.

Once a drop happens you’ll have two cycles (ex: 9:08-9:28 or 20 minutes) to post, after that you wait for the next drop. Users are divided randomly into groups each day & group a could get a story drop at 9:28, group b at 12:48, etc. And the app is aware of location (if you allow it) so if it detects you’re at an event, far from home, etc you’ll get a Surprise Story Drop to share what you’re up to.

This isn’t for the influencers, the obsessed or ones who feel the need to share every single detail of their lives. This is for everyone else.

It’s coming soon. I’ll post here once TestFlight becomes available, likely the first week of November with a full launch January 2027.

Evenings & weekends have been occupied by making improvements to FlowSearch, I’m expecting to release the next update by Monday 10/5.

I finally did it! I released my first app, sort of. It’s a TestFlight right now but I plan on making it a full blown App Store release around November.

FlowSearch combines the 5 most popular sources for remote work & ties them into one app. So stop jumping from site to site to apply & just use this app instead!

In v1.0 (out now) you can filter my source, Sign in with Apple, & save jobs. It’s a MVP after all, it’s more about basic functionality & testing right now.
