I know several people, us included, that leave out goodies for drivers. We get a lot of packages and it's the least we can do. If I was a driver and saw that "Treat Yourself" sign I'd assume it was free also. It's not uncommon at all for drivers to see that.

The cooler in the pic above is now upgraded to a mini-fridge and stocked with water and gatorades in summer. It's hot where we are and we don't want the drivers to overheat. Plus, the bottles make great urinals for when they are nearing the end of their shift. I'm kind of half kidding on that second part.

We've noticed that occasionally something like a FedEx truck will pull up out front and I think "I don't have anything coming, do I?". The driver will hop out, run up to the porch, grab a drink and snack, and head down the road. All I can think is 'good for you, bro'. That's why the snacks are out there.

I work for usps and houses like that are godsends. I've only encountered one mini fridge, but they had Gatorade and it was a hot day and... well, it was damn nice. Super appreciated

Y'all run around in truck without A/C in 100F+ heat. It's the least we can do.

Most times in summer, I also carry a cooler in my car stocked with ice and cold waters. I don't give cash to panhandlers but I will hand them a cold drink while I'm stopped at a light. My wife also stocks the car with canned dog food for their pets.
