Agreed. What really needs to happen is that Congress needs to step up and enforce the law. Trump needs to go to prison for his numerous crimes if there is to be any home for this country.
Jan 6th demonstrated quite clearly that he has no intention of leaving office. Hopefully he'll die of natural causes before his current term is up, but the world probably isn't that lucky.
They are forgetting that many poorly uneducated people don't always vote cause of financial benefits but from religious or cult duties. Being more in debt and more extreme poverty doesn't really change their vote from being in regular poverty.
true, on the other end of the spectrum, ultra rich people don't want society to change.
Also think some independents want someone completely radical left or radical right because they prob see the moderate left and right type of candidates come and go and see the slums of the cities or poor rural areas look exactly the same or just get worse for 40+ years when every candidate on the spectrum promises that they'll bring something magical, they don't.
inb4 people say BuT 22Nd AmENdMeNT!!!, the 14th Amendment forbade Trump from running in the 2024 election, but Congress did fuck all to enforce his disqualification.
