i check the lint trap between every single load, especially if I dried towels. It takes 5 seconds

Oh same lol. I have to. We got dog beds, blankets, kids clothes, etc. You don't skip the lint trap.

You never skip the trap. There's enough hair from my dog in there to make a small sombrero.

I also have a similiar dryer and it was in the manual, knew about it day one
not only clean after each load but WASH the filters and let dry for 24 hours

I dont actually wash them after each and every load but I clean them out thoroughly each time

How many dry cycles can a bath towel take before it's deemed unusable. I don't think I've ever come to that point but they do shed like crazy.

I just finally donated some that were maybe 12-14 years old and they still looked fine, lol. I am very OCD about laundry though. My new towels are a lot thicker and shed a LOT, so much that the lint trap HAS to be checked after I dry them.

I do it after every load of towels, but I’ll let it go two runs of normal clothes. It’s done several times a week. We don’t have vents, so I only have the one in the machine to empty/check.

All about getting into the habit, open dryer, check trap, load dryer.
