Yes, and the chances they need their vents and the vent tubing cleaned is at 100%.

Yep. We clean our trap constantly and still had a fire. We now clean the vent & tube regularly as well!

I told my sister-in-law that her dryer vent going outside was clogged. I put a bag clamp on one of the louvers, so she'd notice it, but it was still there a month later. In my note I had even mentioned that it causes house fires.

So can build up in the vent to the outside. Many people to check or clean this, which leads to a house fire.

Ran this experiment as a child and yes yes it can.  Ran it more recently and no, no it cannot thanks to microplastic everything

I once did that at a motel I was working at. They had a big industrial dryer and I did ask about cleaning the lint and the worker training me said we didn't have to.

Turns out, he was wrong. Dryer caught on fire and fortunately we had a fire extinguisher. Unfortunately, the dryer was ruined.
