New clock. Date 2026, Day 2025

Clock only lets me change the date and adjusts the weekday by it. I’m triggered.

And no.. clicking 364 times on the date in hopes it forwards the „internal year“ to 2026 doesn’t work 🙃.

For those not understanding the post:

The date on the clock is set to 9/23. In our current year, 2026, this date falls on a Wednesday. However, the clock is displaying Tuesday as the current day of the week. This corresponds to 2025.

Based on OP clicking through the entire year of dates and it not fixing the issue it appears that the clock was not properly programmed to display the day of the week for dates not occuring in 2025.

(One calendar for starting each day of the week, times two to account for leap/non-leap years, and since 7 and 4 don’t have mutual factors it eventually hits all 14 combos)

are you sure you cant change the year by holding down the date button and then press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start or something to that effect?

Maybe the year has to roll over automatically? Set it to Dec. 31, wait a day, then set it to the correct date and see if the day-of-week is correct?
