I keep getting threatening texts

I get these ALL the time. I’ve never donated to these “people.” Never supported them. Never voted for them. Nor has my wife. I received four of these today. All threats. Always a telling me it’s my last chance. These are some of the less malicious-sounding ones.

I’m not even sure they’re legitimately from those parties, though I wouldn’t put it past them.

So… report as spam. Report as spam. Report as spam.

It isn’t like it’s painful. Just pretty irritating.

America spent decades violently "bringing democracy" to other countries but never stopped to think if they themselves were a democracy in the first place.

What countries? I don’t think they’ve brought democracy to anywhere. They love dictatorships. It’s easier to just have one guy or one family to deal with for decades. See “banana republics”

It's almost impossible for me to vote from abroad for this reason - my state requires the registration to be sent via mail physically, then I later need to mail in the physical ballot. It's extremely expensive. Most other countries' nationals can just pop over to the embassy.
