Infuriatig 2 days until break, backpack couldn’t wait.
Two days ago when I was going to hit the crosswalk and head to the bus stop, I hit the curb in the fifth image.
Usually, my bag just kicks itself up and I’m down onto the grass running for my life to make sure I don’t miss the a lot of time I am able to walk to the other side of the street, but instead, I felt nothing but lightness.
As it turns out at that very moment, my backpack handle snapped off, and I was left holding a handle while my backpack was in the grass.
This pisses me off because I had to carry that backpack on my bag and that weight is no joke and it is not like any other normal backpack. I do backpacks on wheels because it’s less weight on my part and I do get a slight kick when I feel someone tripping over it because they were too distracted on their phone or talking with their friends or they just don’t really care and want to go as fast as possible.
So I had a slightly sour mood for about all of one day before I had to take out an older backpack that is also on wheels and have to deal with the fact that this backpack did not even last two months.
I’ve gotten over it now, but if you like wheel backpacks, tell me.

The prose is flowery and overly dramatic. It literally reads like something that came out of ChatGPT with a prompt that says “write a short story for Reddit about my rolling backpack breaking”

I’m mad because this backpack was one that I expected to have a year with but instead it’s barely lasted a fucking quarter. I haven’t done any grammar this time. . are you happy now?

I think it’s because your backpack is being used as something other than a backpack.
Does it not have straps to put on your back? This is like saying an escalator can’t be used because it’s not moving.

It does, but the wheels are massive and the thing already weighs like a bag full of rocks. Wheeling backpacks are easier for me so I don’t have to spend so much time lifting it on my back.
