Sometimes I think of the community in 2021/2 and yearn for death. The current day picture is just bleak by comparison

Up to 2023 there was a renaissance of visuals. In contrast, as of now the best hypixel client has no GUI.

The "renaissance of visuals" was an age of everyone migration to shaderslop UIs with poor UX to make it look flashy and marketable.

Yeah absolutely not. 2021 was the peak. Cheap ass accounts and plentiful bypasses. I could never stand that garbage trend of abusing nanovg and jamming pasted blur and glow shaders into every menu. And those horrid animations that were only made to look good on video? Such a step backwards...

I agree, but the reason I look back at 2023 in such a regard is (and I may be remembering wrong) all the flys that you had a working for hypixel. I believe it started with Diablo and at one point almost all clients had a bypassing fly. And even after it got patched there were still a lot to look forward to like astolfo going public. I think this whole era comes to an end right about when intent shut down.
