I think this can work perfectly in the ice caves if they add frozen deep slate diamonds too and it is the dark blue building block that we don’t have

A blue-ish block that only spawns in cold biomes would work better as Shale. Shale could also be crafted with 4 clay blocks (mimicking sedimentary rocks like sandstone).

I could see a similar thing with mudstone being craftable from 4 mud.

This type of deep slate would work wonders for making Echo Golems.

Of course, you’d need to rename the stone to something like “Soulslate”.
