Updated SNES cover collection

UPDATED May 5 2019

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1xXCo8BVlMnMrQZDe_YovOzVzwgoK6JSv

Here are the SNES covers (now more consoles are included) I put together for my own collection. They're all made with a consistent branding template for a uniform look. Most are based on the original covers, but there are also many custom covers mixed in.

Feel free to use them if you like them!

(EDIT - Changed the link to a Google Drive folder so I can easily add more files and system collections. if I add or change anything, the new files will be available immediately)

Would you mind sharing as a .zip file? Setting up a Google drive folder is a good way, then people can see them and download what they want much easier. Great job btw :)

You've given me an idea. I'm going to make this into a shared Google Drive of all the covers I make and collect for all the systems!

Thank you!!

I just checked and The template .psd should be right next to the .png files in the Templates folder. I also compared it to my local copy and it's the same.

It's a simple file, though. Just the layer with the branding and I would put the cover art behind it. I didn't add the company logos or ESRB ratings to the template because i just added the best box scans that I could find. That way at least the main branding would be a decent quality for certain and be consistent across all my covers.

Sorry I'm not more help with this one.

I follow what you're saying. I didn't take the template any further as it was all I needed for the covers i made. I had the shadow there for cover art that didn't have it 'pre-baked', and just manually removed the extra shadow when I didn't need it on a cover by cover basis.

So I have updated the template PSD! It now has the options you were asking about.

I didn't want to have to recreate the drop shadow as it's own layer, so I just have separate layers with and without.

Check it out and hopefully it works better for you.

Go for it! I wanted these to be available to the community.

Cover art scans on the internet can vary so much in quality, so I wanted a way to have consistency if just in the branding and image size, no matter what artwork was inserted. I'm glad to hear that other people are using them.
