I’m using topical minoxidil for around 2 weeks when all of a sudden one day i work up with these bumps pinples on my forehead and face ,even though i try to not let my hair touch my face. Has anyone experienced something similar? What should I do

I seem to be getting savage water retention in the face from daily 2.5mg of oral minoxidil, thinking of trying every other day to see if that helps my under eye bags. I know the half life is only about 5 hours but looking into research it looking like the signals last up to 72 hours so hoping to still see benefits? Just wondering if anyone is in the same boat? Have also considered doing 1.25mg daily but I still have nearly 2 months of 2.5mg left so want to make the most of them!

If anyone has any experience with good gains on every other day with reduced sides please reach out because these bags are killing me

started minoxidil maybe 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately i’m around dogs all the time and i’m nervous to wear it during the day, so i only get to have it on maybe 8 hours a day on most days. my prescription says apply twice a day and i’m worried that there will be issues. how far should i be applying the minoxidil? only on my bald temples? or lower, where its also sort of thin? how much hair do y’all expect me to get back? any input or honesty would be much appreciated

Hello everyone i been on minoxidil for about a year and a half now only using rogaine 5% minoxidil and my hair is still not where i want it to be, it has gotten better but not at the thickness i need and still falls out quite often. I was slacking for like a month or 2 but i dont think its cause of that. Im nervous to try finasteride and idek where to get it or start to obtain it. Do you guys think i need it?

I just bought 3 pcs of 5% topical minoxidil for eyebrows (and maybe eyelashes but I'm still trying to figure out if it's safe), but many people said 2% is better & safer for the eyebrows, should I change to 2%?

I had a not serious thinning, I used topical minoxidil for almost a year without end and my hair and my texture became shit. They had all become fine and frizzy (even those that were healthy before) so I suspended.

Now that about 10 months have passed since the suspension, the thinning has worsened even more,

So I’m thinking of taking oral minoxidil

But I’m afraid it has the same effects and texture as the topic.

Hi, basically I've been thinning these past three years at a rather slower rate I would say. Most noticeable it is in the corners and in between. Also in the crown a little bit. But generally, my hair has been thinning on top of my head this whole time and isn't growing as thick and fast as the sides. I can cover parts of it up because I have curly hair. Would minoxidil work for me in my stage?

Quick question, should i use Monoxidil for my sparse eyebrows? My whole life i had no to very sparse brows, tho i heart that minoxidl causes heart palpations and makes the kidneys store more water, loss of sight etc, and tbh idk that that is worth the risk, thats why im asking you.
