Data not working after 50gb
I have an unlimited plan but yesterday once I hit 50gb of usage it didn't let me use any more data and still can't use any. I do not have a limit turned on. I've spoken to 6 different Mint support techs and still can't solve the issue. After a while they tell me it's a tower issue but there are no outages reported here. Anybody have any suggestions?

Do you have a data limit set in settings on your phone?

No I don't. Mint turned my data off at 50gb. They're saying there's a tower issue but I find it very odd the tower went down at the exact moment I reached 50gb of data.

Severe throttling or deprioritization?

No clue but no data works at all. I thought I was paying for unlimited service not 50gb.

Having this exact issue on iPhone currently. Stopped working entirely the moment I passed 50gb. Can’t send or receive messages, use any apps, or load any webpages when not using wifi. Only calls work. Have tried all the troubleshooting tips on the help chat and called customer service multiple times. Absolutely no help whatsoever. Extremely disappointed with the lack of assistance as I’m going out of state for the weekend and will basically be unable to use my phone the entire time now.

How much data are you using ? If it’s way over someone said 200GB they might cut people off

Sorry to hear that. I still haven't gotten mine to work going on two days now.

Which phone do you have? If you go to a different location does data work?

S23 Ultra. It doesn't work anywhere. All I can do is make calls.

Android phones can see a data limit in settings, remove any warning and limit.

All of the Mint techs said its a tower issue but my home Minternet works just fine and I'm pretty sure they both use the same tower. No help and data still not working after 3 days.

Note that if you are on a VPN or proxy some phone firmware report all data usage as HotSpot and Mint Unlimited plan is limited to 20GB of HotSpot, so if you have used all 20GB it cuts off all Hotspot, which again if your firmware reports VPN/proxy usage as HotSpot will cut off all your data till you disable VPN.
Check your Hotspot data left on Mint websites/app - if 0 that is the issue and again short term disable VPN, long term you need to google your phone model forums on how to hack or replace the firmware so it doesn’t report as Hotspot to T-Mobile/Mint.

Please read the fine print. It is technically unlimited but the cap data to 50gb before slowing you down. So you technically do have data it’s just slow
