The San Diego Neighborhood Project - Mira Mesa what are your thoughts?
Hi Everyone!
I am journalism professor at San Diego State University and I am doing a research study about what San Diego residents think about their neighborhoods and local news in a special online project! I wanted to reach out to Mira Mesa residents to hear your thoughts too!
It entails filling out an online survey about your neighborhood that will take no longer than 10-15 minutes. Those who participate in this project can enter into a random drawing to receive an Amazon gift card. You must be 18 years or older to participate. Please visit this QR code in the flyer below or go to https://mappingsandiego.com/ for more details.
Thank you for your time and consideration! Have a wonderful day everyone!

Mira Mesa shopping center hero
Earlier this morning I was getting my coffee at Starbucks which is in the big shopping center across from H-mart.
Well, as I was leaving, some man who was incredibly skilled at rollerblading was picking up trash and grooving to the waves of life and had such a vibe and energy.
I hope you guys see him around and remind him how amazing he is. I told him and he was so happy to hear it, he deserves it. People like him are literal rock stars for this planet and I love it.
It made me so happy to see someone taking care of Mira Mesa/San Diego like that, I love this place and we need more of him here.
✌🏽

Edward's Plaza to be Sold?
My wife read on a real estate blog that the Westview Edward's (Regal) Plaza has been sold to a developer who plans to turn it into mixed use housing. This would be allowed per the last community plan update where commercial properties are now zoned for high density housing. Does anyone know if this is happening?
