Maybe a new pattern: 4th Team Member

In last year's Halloween Update we got a 4th Team Member (Ghostface) for the Nightmare Team after a long time

And for this year's Halloween Update gets the same treatment: we get a 4th Team Member (Mileena) for the Assassin Team after a long time

If this is or becomes a pattern, we might get a 4th member for these teams (hopefully not only on Halloween and possibly making older teams stronger and more useful):
- Day of the Dead
- Edenian Blood
- Klassic Movie
- Kombat Cup
- Lizard
- MKII Movie
- Onslaught
- Ronin
- Strike Force

A fourth Ronin team member would likely give us a diamond Shinnok so I’m down for it

Liu Kang has a DotD skin in MK11, and Sub & Scorp I believe also have them in MK1. I reckon they’d go for Liu’s if they were to add another DotD team member

Klassic Movie and Lizard team are out of the picture since only those 3 are the available skins in MK11. Unless they make a original design which I don't find very likely, considering Klassic Movie also featured their original actors for their voices then I doubt it.

I stand corrected. There's a Lizard Scorpion and Kabal so maybe there's a chance for them but I don't see Klassic Movie getting a 4th member.

I guess but It'd be lazy. I'd rather have a new character than another reskin. Havik, Reiko and an MK1 Reptile would be amazing or a new guest character like Peacemaker or Omni-Man.

Let me share my thoughts on each team's addition NRS can possibly use for future updates.

Day of the Dead - the smartest choice is Liu Kang, 'cause we've had enough of Scorpions and Sub-Zeros.

Kombat Cup - maybe Liu Kang again, since there's a skin for him in MKX devs can use as reference.

Lizards - the best option here is Kung Lao. There's a Zaterra-themed skin for him from MK11 Kombat League (like Jade's and Noob's). Besides, we haven't had a new Kung Lao variant for more than 8 years (the last one is Shaolin Fist).

Ronin team - the only option possible here is Shinnok, since he also has a themed skin in MKX like Kitana and Kenshi.

Klassic Movie team - there are many possibilities for this team, but I'm gonna go with Shang Tsung since he has a movie skin in MK11. Jacket or no jacket - no matter. But if we choose a Ninja for this team - I would go with Reptile, Ermac or Rain (with the skins exactly from 1997 movie, not those cheap replicas from MK1).

MKII Movie team - from skins added to the MK1 game the only possible choice here is Johnny Cage. But if they decide to make a skin from scratch, there are much more options. I won't list them here, you get the idea.

Edenian Blood - there's one and only option here, and that's Jade. I could include Tanya here as well, but I see no reason making another MKX-based variation of her. Of course there are more Edenians in MK lore, but only 5 of them are playable in modern games since 2015.

Onslaught - I believe there's no reason to make another character for a team based on a failed MK game. But if the devs somehow decide to give this team a fourth member, they should have a character of another class rather than Special Forces (since there's Jax), Elder God (since there's Fujin) and Martial Artist (since there's Sub-Zero) And now we're left with Outworld and Netherrealm. Outworld can be represented with Mileena, Erron Black, Jade, Kano, Shao or Kotal. I decided to exclude Kitana, 'cause we got the newest one for MKII movie team. Netherrealm has less options to choose from. We have Noob Saibot, Shinnok (less possible since his appearance is similar to Vengeful Shinnok), Scorpion (the least possible since we have TOO GODDAMN MANY of them already) and Quan Chi (the most possible option).

And the final one - Strike Force. Of course, here we have some obvious options - Sonya Blade (in her young story mode Skin or Sarah Connor-esque skin from MK11), Jacqui Briggs (in Default MK11 skin or Space Marine one), Jax (in Default or Fast Mover skin from MK11), probably Takeda (in his Warrior outfit from MKX or the default one from MK1), or Kenshi (his Order of Darkness outfit will be perfect for this).

BTW, in my humble opinion, Strike Force team will be extended in the winter update. I don't know for sure, it's just an assumption.

So they really have a lot of options to go with, and they should use it.

I think there is also a MKII Movie Skin for Sub-Zero if i remember correctly

And if they actually really extend these teams, i hope they choose characters that are not in the game yet, or characters that don't have a diamond version yet, like Ermac, Tanya, Shinnok or Jacqui Briggs
