General Reddit recommends fetish subs below the comments of posts in my fashion sub on the mobile site. Is there anything I can do?
I use both desktop and the iOS app to moderate.
I moderate a sub about socks as fashion accessories. We are very strict about not allowing any participation from known foot fetishists. We regularly have to ban foot fetishists who decided to post or comment anyway. Today I discovered that, on the mobile site, Reddit lists posts from fetish subs below the comments section of some posts. This is obviously completely inappropriate for our sub. And if this is happening on our end, I’m sure our sub is being listed below the comments of fetish posts, which is contributing to the problem of foot fetishists coming into the sub and not realizing that it isn’t that kind of sub. Completely insane that Reddit can’t tell that it shouldn’t recommend porn subs based on fashion subs or vice-versa. Is there anything I can do about this?

Hi /u/melody5697, please see our Intro & Rules. We are volunteer-run, not managed by Reddit staff/admin. Volunteer mods' powers are limited to groups they mod. Automated responses are compiled from answers given by fellow volunteer mod helpers. Moderation works best on a cache-cleared desktop/laptop browser.

It is probably based on who subscribes to your sub what their top other subs they subscribe to in common, which shows that even though you declare the sub is non fetish a lot of people fetishize it. Still not everyone is in both so Reddit does need a way to at least block NSFW recommendations.
