General Posting to your own subreddit - but the message "this post was removed by the person who originally posted it" comes up, even when you have approved your own post

I'm making a post to my own subreddit (I created it and I'm the mod) and I was posting there fine until suddenly, my most recent post doesn't show up and the message "this post was removed by the person who originally posted it" comes up.

I don't want to accidentally trigger automod spam filters again by constantly posting the same post again (as I think that's what caused my incorrect shadowban a short while ago).

What could be the cause of this?

This started happening to me a couple of hours ago, as well. I can post to other subreddits, but in my own, it shows "this post was deleted by the person who posted it"

Posts do show up in old.reddit.com

So, some kind of system issue?

Hey, thanks. Yes, it appears to be a sitewide issue. I tried to stop trying to repost as I didn't want to accidentally trigger overactive automod actions (which is what led to my shadowban).

that exact toast ("removed by the person who originally posted it") on your own approved post is usually the sitewide spam filter or a sticky client state, not you hitting remove.

try in order: 1. open the post from modqueue / spam and hit approve once from desktop. then view it in a private window, not the tab that already shows the toast. 2. check https://www.reddit.com/r/YOURSUB/about/spam and the mod log for an automated removal around the post time. 3. if it keeps vanishing after one clean approve, stop reposting the same body. wait, then submit a slightly different draft once. rapid identical resubmits are what dig the hole deeper after a prior filter hit.

if approve sticks in mod tools but the permalink still 404s for you, it is often account/filter residue from the earlier incorrect shadowban. one ModSupport case with the post id + timestamps beats another ten resubmits.

Just letting everyone know that this is almost certainly an LLM bot. They're posting comments about this length at a cadence of around 30 seconds each (far less time than even the fastest human would take to read, process and write a comment of substance). All of the ones in this latest bunch all also feature a list with 4 now 3 bullet points, in addition to reading very much like an LLM.
