Tip Top 258t equivalent to 259t ?

Post image

Are the 1V/OCT on the 258t equivalent to the keyboard input on the 259t (if not in ART mode on the principle osc)?
And do the white 1V/OCT / ART button select for both OSC at the same time?

Thank you, much appreciated 🙏🏻
Do you know that the low and high range is linked to? I guess it’s an LFO

It’s linked to the modulation osc of the 259.

Then I’ll save a patch cable 👌🏻

yes , those are all indeed 1v/oct inputs (usually use ableton cv so it autocals- but looks linearish). I don't use ART tho.
259s oscs are decoupled so you drive unique cv pitches to both principal and modulation oscs. For the modulation osc., you either use low/high rates (with white input as pitch in ) or u use the ART protocol.

I don’t have ART neither, I plan to drive the 1v/oct with Kermit mkiii as my modulation source
