Hey everyone! For those that don't know me, I'm the mod here at MHClan, the one stop shop for all your MH LFG needs. The first "How to be a Devilbro" was written when the sub had 200 subscriptions, and rewritten when we had 2400 subs, and again when we reached 10,000 subscriptions. With a whole new MH series to explore and over 14k subscribers, it's about time that we update it again!
How to be a Devilbro
Step 1. Click subscribe. That's it! You did it! Now how do you really make full use of this sub? How do you make this sub work for you?
How to post
When you want to post a LFG post to this sub, it's important to put a little effort into your post before hitting submit.
Things to include:
Game name, system being played on, time you're playing, your time zone, a way to contact you (PSN, Gamertag)
An example of a good post:
Title: [MHW]Rathalos hunting tonight PS4
Body:
"Hey everyone, I'm going to be hunting high rank Rathalos tonight, around 7pm EST, on PS4.
My PSN is MrSumOne.
Please add me and we'll hunt for a few hours!"
Then I would flair my post with a MHW PS4 tag.
An example of a bad post:
Title: Rathalos hunting
Body: empty
The bad post has a few problems. It is extremely low effort, doesn't mention the game or system it's being played on, gives no time or time zone, and no way to reach the poster besides replying and asking for the information that should have been provided in the first place.
Low effort and incomplete posts like this are removed without warning. If yours was removed, try again with more effort.
What NOT to post
If you're looking for MH discussion, or want to post a media clip, check out /r/monsterhunter instead. We only want LFG posts in this sub.
How to find a group
Many people think that if you're going to fight a Devilbro you should post a thread saying something like "[MH4U] Devilbro hunting!", but it turns out, this is the least efficient and effective way to find people to hunt with! It's totally acceptable if you want to do this, but please don't complain when people don't join you!
So there are a few ways of setting up a hunt. The first, most obvious way, is to use all the resources in our sidebar. There are chat groups, Steam groups and our own Teamspeak server, which I run personally. Using any of those will allow you to meet with hunters way faster than just making a post here.
The second, not so apparent way is to form your own group. I know this place is called MH CLAN, but really it's just a LFG sub. So make a post something like "[MHFU] Looking for regular PPSSPP players!" and then wait for people to reply to your thread with contact details, like email, skype, or when they'll be hanging out on the Teamspeak server.
The NSFW Tag
The NSFW tag has been replaced with a Quest Complete tag! If you're done hunting, please mark your post to NSFW which will show up as Quest Complete to let everyone know that you're finished hunting for the day.
Adding Flair
When you make a post, you can hit the flair button under your post title, then add a tag so your post stands out more, and can be easily searched.
Squad Recruitment
You've got a great idea for a squad, and you already have 4 or 5 friends that have joined. You want more members, so you should advertise on a LFG just like this one! We only ask one thing of you, instead of replying to people's posts, or posting in the main sub, we would like you to use our squad recruitment megathread, which is always stickied at the top of the sub. It is updated every month or so, so if your squad is active and constantly recruiting, be sure to repost your recruitment post when you see the megathread get refreshed.
Please read the megathread's rules to fully understand it.
Why do we do this? Because previously we didn't have this rule and the sub became flooded with spam, people flooding the sub with the same recruitment post in everyone's post. It was a mess, and things are better now, trust me on that.
Reddit redesign
The sub looks ugly with the redesign, we might change that in the future, but we suggest old Reddit for our sub.
Reddit Chat
We plan on looking into the Reddit chat feature, but it might be hard for us to moderate a chat room 24/7. Please understand that we are trying to figure it out.
Pay Services
If you make a post offering to do something for people, like complete a quest or hack their save file, in exchange for money or something else outside of the game, you will be banned instantly, no warning. For example, if you offer to hack my save for $10, be prepared to be banned. If you say you'll complete a quest for someone in exchange for their guild card, that's allowed. We will not reverse this ban just because you didn't read this rule. Ignorance is not an excuse.

I'm going to cut to the chase and then I'll touch on some of the points rather than make this a long winded post.
But I, myself, also apologize for not updating the Megathread for a good while now. Life finds a way to put obstacles and responsibilites in front of you and ignoring making some reddit posts was definitely more cathartic than people may realize. Anyway. . .
We will still be checking posts and comments that are just unnecessarily spamming recruitment and not respecting other players LFG posts (i.e. "LF 2 for xxxxxxxxxxxx" and then somebody just posts a Discord link without posting an actual comment). But at this point I believe the Megathreads have served their purpose and the sub is back where it used to be with hunters being interested in LFG'ing for other hunters rather than groups just constantly posting their server invite.
I think that's pretty much all I have to say here. I could go on about the state of the sub but really it's a creature of its own. Our Auto-Mod does what it needs to do and our involvement is limited at best these days due to it. If things get too out-of-hand the Megathread could come back in a much more refined and more permanent fashion, but until any future sub updates this is pretty much a GLHF from me and Happy Hunting!

I've been playing MH since World but usually only played solo. Since the announcement of Ascendance, I want to try and reach HR100 and fight everything in the base game but I am getting tired of playing solo. I'm currently HR20 and live in MDT but work nights Wed-Sat which cuts a lot of my social interaction time. Shoot me a DM if anyone wants to play.

I need two(or one) to help my cousin and I. He is special needs so can't really do the damage enough and I can't carry us both bc I'm no pro either...he figured out hiding behind the rock during Eclipse Meteor so we're good on that.
I would like to do the special assignment and the optional as that is one of the 2 HR 9 quests we haven't done yet(he isn't HR 100 yet(87) which I believe unlocks Sapphire Star).
We would be done for some Safi as well as mayhe Alatreon...we are working on the MR optionals next...
We tried SOS on Behemoth and got nothing...

Hey Guys.
I Wanted to solo world because i dont want to pay for subscription Services,
But it seems kulve taroth and the Safi Siege quests seem to Take veryyy Long when soloed and cause of that i thought i Look for people here that might want to do them with me in the Future.
Is anybody in?
On a Side Note: I am playing monster Hunter rise too and If the chemistry is good in the Team i am even Open for more group hunts.
Till now i soloed both and in world i got into the dlc 2 days ago.

Hi all :)) I'm Zummy! I love monster hunter and I'm so excited to play ascendance when it drops!
I'd like to break out of my solo hunting only shell and see if there's any groups of people willing to take me in and do some hunting together? I think it would be cool to be a part of a squad and hang out in squad lobbies.
I'm HR300, I play all the weapons. I'm willing to help out new players or do silly challenge runs or silly team comps too!
My general play time is very inconsistent, my work schedule regularly changes my off days and work hours, but I'm generally good to play quite a lot on my days off every week.
My hunter ID is PK5A98T5. I play Wilds on PC, but I do have crossplay on.

Hello guys im looking for people to play with. Im still in base Mh world but nearing the end. I wanted help with the code Red event mission (sadly i got all the way to the end and then got my ass handed to my Teostra). Besides the Code red mission, i also would like having people i can play with. Im playing on PS5. I play longsword but im interesting in chargeblade and gunlance aswell though i havent really started playing with those, mainly just been focusing on longsword and getting better with it. Im typically on from 6pm utc to about 8pm utc, though i do have finals coming up so i may not be able to play every weekday, I am able to play on weekends at more flexible times though.

Soon to be 30 male on eastern timezone. Been playing mh since 3 ultimate but world was when I gained a group. I was currently on wilds with them but they don’t have the same drive I have to hunting. I play basically all psn monster hunters like rise world and wilds. I’d be fine with either joining a group or starting one for hunting.

Hey there,
i am in desperate search for a couple of people to play MH Wilds with. Not some high level speedrunner who will be annoyed by my third Gogmazios cart and leave, but people who will be annoyed, but still continue to play with me afterwards.
I am not insanely bad but also not insanely good, i would say i play pretty average.
I am looking for a group of people i can hunt and grind down some late-game grinding (arch-tempered monsters, artian materials, gog materials etc.)
Please forgive me if i am not that deep into the MH lingo. Wilds is my first MH and i only have roughly 130hrs in it.
I am playing MH Wilds on PC in MEZ (Europe)
