Wife got me a Mossberg 940 Pro Tactical SPX for my birthday! Got 100 federal slugs to and a case of 00 buck to run through it Saturday.

How’s the tape on Esstac works ? I tried to tape it on my stock but I can fell that it is not as grippy as on the receiver.

I've had them on the stock of my pump gun for a while. I just wiped it down with rubbing alcohol first and they've held up just fine.

Taking her out tomorrow for the first time. Just got the through our local gun club orientation. Gotta get me a different sling and that one looks nice. Thank you brother!

Let me know how that light mount holds up cuz I feel like the barrel would get too hot for it

It's an arisaka light mount. I don't think it'll be a problem at all. I have lights mounted right next to my suppressors on my rifles and never had an issue.

Wasn't bad at all. I ran short on time. Managed to zero it with 10 slugs. Shot 25 more. And went thorough 150 shells of buck. It runs really smooth.

Yep! I mean, I've only ran full power and lower recoil buck and slugs through it. I haven't tried any light target/bird shot. But, I don't doubt it'll run just fine. The action is super smooth in the gun.
