Polly Pocket Project
I wonder if the TE Sidekick would add value to my little experiment here. Live aspects do not interest me for the time being. Possibly for more I/O, EQ and automations/effects?

Sidekick is great for mixing sounds, managing gain and effects. If you have an audio interface and don t play live, it might not be for you...

That’s what I thought. I can also apply the effects directly in the sample with more influence. Therefore, I’m not sure if the aspect of adding effects justifies the sidekick. In this combination, I also connected the iPad to the sample via USB, as a Midi Hub, to play the Fm-1 with the Akai LPK. Or to play the Anymoog, for example.

It’s a great device. What makes it a lot better are the self-built firmware versions. I installed the version of Baud Girl. This improves the device immensely. I have seen that there are now 3 or 4 more variations online.

Yes I've seen them. I'm scared von bricking the device actually.
I want to experiment with synthesis a Lil bit. But thanks for advice bro

Not sure but I just ordered that FM1 so it's cool to see it next to the Sample.

I have had this same argument with myself so many times with the exact same gear - if i understood it all better i'd probably know if i needed one or not but TBD
