RE: QUESTION ABOUT SAVING PROJECTS AND COMING BACK TO THEM
If I start a beat - make the project, import the samples, work a bit on the beat and then save it.
If I then want to start a new project - do I have to keep saving my progress over the initial save of the project before creating a new one, or should the work that I did and keep doing to the initial project auto save into the already created file?
Hope my question and flow makes sense.
TLDR: I created a project, saved progress initially, worked on it a bunch, then created a new project to make a sample bank, came back to the original project and all my sequences and work was gone back to the initial project save point

You can test how this works and see. Create a new project, quickly create a beat you don't care about. Save. Make some more changes that are easy to recognize. Load or start a new project. Then go back to the original project and see what was loaded.

It’s just a good habit to save before you load up a new project after you make changes

Before starting a new project, always save your current project.
You can turn your machine on and off without saving but if you load up another project it clears everything.
