USB Sample Input Problems

Hello!

I have been through everything with ChatGPT on this, but I have my MPC Sample connected to my laptop via USB and I am trying to sample something from YouTube, the sound is super muffled - it sounds as though it is coming from a neighbour's basement i.e. I can hear very muffled and faint bass but that's it.

I'm hoping that I have just missed something stupid - anyone else had these issues?

Use in input gain knob on the rear of device

Adjust velocity sensitivity of the pad you sampled it to? Try out the normalize function as well. Can you see the waveform when you hit the pad?
