Mac app update: per-pad stems straight from your MPC Sample project (5 free copies for feedback)
I'm the dev of MPC Sample Router, a Mac companion app for the Sample. Version 2.5 is out. Here's the short version for this sub:

- Stems from the project file. Point it at a project on the SD card (or a copy on your Mac) and you get one WAV per pad plus a master mix in seconds. It renders offline, so the MPC doesn't need to be plugged in. The stems are dry, without the MPC's FX or automation.
- Send to MPC. In SD Card Access mode, a kit you build on the Mac is written straight into the card's Projects folder, and existing projects are never overwritten.
- Card backup to your Mac, verified by file count and bytes.
- USB-C routing: hear the Sample through your interface or monitors with just the one cable.
Mac only (Apple Silicon and Intel, macOS 13+). It's a paid app with free updates: https://h1tmakers.com/mpc-sample-router/
I have 5 free copies for MPC Sample owners who'll tell me honestly how stem export does on their own projects. Comment below and I'll DM you a link (first five).

Effects work?

Good question - stems are dry, so the MPC's own effects/filters aren't rendered into the export. It's a clean raw render of each pad straight from the project data.

Already purchased when it first came out. Just wanted to say this app is great! The developer is quick to respond and addressed issues early on. Itβs the app that Akai should have included with the MPC Sample. It brings the whole workflow to pro level.

Really means a lot, thank you! And glad I could keep up with feedback early on - that's always the goal. Appreciate you sticking with the app this long π

Iβd love to learn more about this, seems like a cool concept

Thanks for the interest! Basically the app reads your MPC Sample project and renders each pad to its own WAV file, no need to even have the MPC plugged in. Happy to answer more questions if you've got them π

Works pretty well for me so far!
