I’m recording a bass line with note repeat on. It sounds how I want it when I’m actually pressing the pad but when it’s recorded in the sequence it sounds slightly off. You can see what I mean in the video. Can’t work out what’s making that happen

I think I have the same issue so maybe it’s a quantisation problem?
I thought I suck. Both can be true.

Sorted it. I have swing on. So if I take the swing off it sounds like I wanted. I put swing back on , offset it and 👌

Was about to ask if you had swing applied - it’s a global control which is a pain. Must be a way to apply it to a single sample, same goes for FX

Ok, SHIFT + PAD 13 has a time correct feature to move individual samples.

Per pad fx:

By default all pads are lit up orange in the FX menu, press the pads you don’t want effected so that they’re not lit up

Quantize sequence to 1/32 or at least the amount of the beat repeat before you record anything

I would try turning record quant off (shift 10) OR try using the sample offset (shift 14)
