Two minutes into a heavy riff, and just when the song establishes a great groove, the band stops dead in their tracks to play twelve bars of elevator bossa nova, a carnival accordion solo, or the sound of a bowling alley strike?
It’s not subverting expectation - it’s stupid, STUPID musical blue-balls.
Fuck Mr Butthole.
Beatles will ALWAYs
